Friendly staff who speak perfect English. We had octopus salad and a steak sandwich, beer, glass of rose and 2 Poncha which came to €38! Salad was served in generious portion and great seasonings! Steak sandwich was well made. In house chilly oil was delicious. A delightful meal and evening.

João do Cabeço is hands down one of the best restaurants in Porto Santo, came back year after year and it’s still just as exceptional. The food is consistently delicious, with highlights like their unbelievably soft and buttery bolo do caco in prego especial, one of the best you’ll find on the island. The prego especial no bolo do caco is my personal favorite, nicely seasoned steak inside that tasty local bread, the bifanas are also great, tender and full of flavor. The service is friendly, professional, and efficient, and the atmosphere is warm, with rustic stone walls and a terrace that offers a relaxed local vibe. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and If you have to wait they give you snacks while waiting. This is a spot that is consistently great, food done exceptionally well, and a team that truly cares. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Porto Santo.

We ate lunch and dinner here as it was the only place nearby open in March. It was bustling, great Portuguese food (large portions), very affordable, and very friendly staff that seemed to enjoy sharing their culture with tourists. They give you snacks to eat while you wait for your food. The chorizo cooked at your table is a fun treat, also the birds, plants, and cat.

Awesome service, the staff is really friendly and fast. Picado with beef was good selection for snack or breakfast. If you order drink they brink complimentary. Regarding parking, I would not find place really near, there were some sport near the beach, but all were occupied. In general, really recommended.

Great food with very friendly staff! Had dinner twice and enjoyed both times! Sangria is especially delicious! Recommend to reserve a table as it can get busy.

Had Picado Grande, a dish with beef in a champinon sauce arranged with french fries, tasted lovely. Luckely the vaiter said that it was enough for 3 persons, otherwise we would have ordered one grande for me and one small for my wife we vere hungry but couldn’t finish the grande!! We had the most wonderfull garlic bread with the meal. Beer and water and we were totally full. So full that we couldn’t think of desert. Very friendly waiter. A lovely meal ending a great week at Porto Santo.
